Whenever someone needs to sell a car, it can be a very stressful experience. It can be difficult to know how to go about trying to sell your car and the whole process can seem quite overwhelming. Advertising your car is the most crucial first step in selling any car. Without advertising, no one will even know that your car is even for sale. When advertising your car, two of the most common places to turn are the Autotrader magazine or by online car advertising.

By advertising your car in Autotrader, you will get an advertisement that will run for two weeks. This advertisement includes one small photo of the car as well as two hundred characters of text. There are many regional editions of the Autotrader and the owner of the car can choose which region they would like their advertisement to run in. Advertising in the Autotrader is fairly expensive though.

Although there are many advantages to advertising your car in the Autotrader, there are some disadvantages. The first being that you have limited circulation and a limited shelf life; you also only have two hundred characters to describe the car. This is not a lot and will cause you to have to cram as much information as you can into a very small space. Also, because you only get one picture, you need to make sure that you capture the total essence of your car in that one photo. This is most often impossible to do.

For these reasons, many people prefer to advertise their car online. There are many advantages to advertising your car this way. One of the biggest advantages in advertising your car online is that it is significantly cheaper than advertising in print. This is because bandwidth and disk space are much cheaper than paper, ink, and magazine distribution. This makes for big savings that can be passed on to the seller.

The other advantage to advertising your car online is that there can be much more information included in the advertisement. Also when advertising your car online, you are usually allowed more than one picture in your advertisement. This can make a true portrayal of your car and can interest more buyers. Also, on many sites you can advertise your car until sold for far less than you can advertise it for two weeks in a car magazine.

Advertising your car online allows for many more potential buyers to look at your ad. Because it is online, anybody with an Internet connection will have access to the advertisement. This will mean that not only are more people looking at the ad but there will be potential for many more bids among interested buyers. This could mean getting a much better price for your car.

Another advantage to advertising your car online is that your ad will be up and running much more quickly than submitting it to a print magazine. The turnaround time between submitting an ad and seeing it run is generally much shorter. This means that it will be available for the public to view much more quickly as well. This could help get your car sold more quickly.

With home-based business being the promise to riches why is it that 98% of mlm'ers fail? Okay perhaps you've done all the hotel meetings, driven all over town doing presentation after presentation, been rejected more times than a telemarketer calling during supper time, and are asking yourself why did I get involved in this again??

Your dreams of having more freedom, spending time with your family, traveling around the world, having too many hot rod car...remember?

Using conventional methods to build your downline such as buying leads, cold calling, plastering flyers all over town, classified adds, getting referrals and drop boxes in stores all work. Yes I said they all work, however building your business this way is like waiting for molasses to pour on a cold winters day!

What more is that these traditional methods your upline has "sworn" to you works, end up costing you oodles of time, money and effort with little to no rewards.

I've tried all of these methods. At one time I was even the top recruiter for all of Canada for cripes sakes, and Still never made any Big checks to write home about. Forget big, $5000 would have done it, but I had no such luck using conventional methods.

The reasons why 98% of mlm'ers fail is that it costs too much time energy and money invested than what is being pumped back. Most people in today's society want microwave, Rome was built yesterday results. They are discouraged when their big dreams mlm business doesn't fire out the gate and make them thousands at the get go.

That is unless you do it properly. You see mlm is sold to "average people" who haven't a clue about marketing. "We are only sharing our product/service with you", not selling? Good God not the "S" word! Common we sell everyday. We sell our kids on the benefits of eating broccoli and our spouses on this vacation destination vs another.

The problem is that average people are buying into mlm hoping to one day taste those $20,000 - $60,000 per month checks, without a clue as to what is actually needed to generate a downline that can provide residuals as such.

Here's what every successful network marketer needs in order to generate those kinds of checks. An inexpensive way to get quality, warm leads beating down your door to do business with you each day! This produces sign up after sign up with relative ease. Now if you don't get this, count on freezing your balls off before tasting any sweet molasses!

Imagine...no more chasing the neighbors and bombarding your friends at the water cooler at work with the upcoming hotel meeting schedule. What a concept, people coming to you! Here's how it works...

People know the Internet is the way to go these days. So use it to your advantage. All the top dogs are using what is called "automated prospecting systems"; Ya go ahead and say that 5 times fast.

This is absolutely indispensable information you are about to hear and crucial if you are serious about retiring any time soon on a beach in Maui.

You get your hands on an information product an E-book for example about network marketing. Something that over delivers quality information on how to solve the problems most mlm'ers face, frustration! Make sure when you go about selling this product it is also attached to a back end office that shows you where each sale gives you a profit$ and a lead! Yap I'm giving out huge secrets here, I will probably get crucified for letting this one out of the bag but someone's got to do it. Good mlm'ers are failing not because they don't have potential to succeed but for lack of the right information and proper methods to really make it in this business.

Now once the prospect has bought the info product or e-book under your affiliate, put some cash in your pocket they then become a lead for you. Who better to prospect for building your business than mlm'ers themselves! How many duds have you gone through to find the serious builders? Imagine people paying you to become your leads! Ingenious isn't it?

And that's how the big barkers prance around on stage earning $20,000 - $60,000 per month and more. That's all there is to say. I hope this article about mlm help resource- network marketing secrets reveled will help you pave your way to riches!

In today's highly competitive internet universe, the importance of attracting highly targeted traffic to your website cannot be overemphasized. Routing web traffic to your site can be your only means of survival, especially in the cutthroat world of ecommerce. Getting a high search engine ranking can be very difficult. Fortunately, there is plethora of website promotion strategies you can use to drive traffic to your website.

There is a wide variety of strategies you can adapt, from paid advertising to affiliate marketing. However, most of these techniques require payment. Nevertheless, there are ways to promote your website and increase your web traffic without spending anything. Writing articles is one of the best web site promotion strategies you can use, and they can be very effective. How, you may ask, can writing articles help improve your web traffic? Here are the top seven ways in which it can help explode your business.

1.Reach more people

When you write good articles, it would be a shame not to share them with other people. You can post your articles in your website or you can submit them to other sites such as e-zines and online publishers. By submitting your articles to these sites, you give exposure not only to your ideas but also to your website. Simply include a link back to your site or include your information in the resource box. With this, you get exposure and free advertising as well. Submit your articles to popular e-zines and take advantage of their popularity. Other sites who find your article relevant may also link back to you. Thus, you increase your link popularity, which is one of the most important strategies in the internet world. Remember that most people are looking for information online and by filling this need with your quality article; you may reap the benefit of more exposure and higher web traffic.

2.Free Advertising

Submitting your articles to other websites presents an opportunity to advertise your website without paying exorbitant fees. Although you should avoid marketing language in your articles and make it informative and useful to your readers, you can always include your site's link in the resource box. In addition, by making your article relevant and helpful to your readers, you are making a good impression for your website, which could ultimately lead to a visit and hopefully a purchase. Good quality content in an article is far better and more effective than a few lines of ad space. You have a very special opportunity to presell your product or service to your prospective customer.

3.Gain High Search Engine Ranking

Create a new web page for your article in your website. Optimize your article to make it search-engine friendly. Use top-ranked keywords and Meta tags that can give your website a high search engine ranking. As soon as you upload your new webpage to your server, search engines will spider through it and you can gain an increase in search engine ranking. Remember that search engine optimized content is a very effective strategy to gain a high ranking in search results.

4.Increases Link Popularity

Instead of looking for other sites who would want to establish reciprocal links with your site, you can simply submit an article to other sites. Just do not forget to include a link to your site in your resource box. When these websites pick up and publishes your article, you automatically get a link partner. Try to get as many link partners as you can. Link popularity is one of the factors used by search engines in determining search engine rankings. Make your article especially useful and appealing, so that more websites will be encouraged to publish it.

5.Optimizes your site for improved search engine ranking

By making your site keyword rich, you can greatly improve the search engine ranking of your site. Remember that keyword density is one of the most important factors that search engines use when determining the search engine ranking of site. However, you should always provide relevant, useful and pertinent information. Avoid the temptation of overusing keywords just to gain a high ranking as this may turn off most web surfers. Relevance and quality is still the most important things to consider when writing articles and it will be doubly useful to your site if you make these articles search-engine optimized.

6.Establishes a Good Impression and Reputation

By writing excellent, original and relevant articles, you not only give your site exposure, you are also creating a good impression on your prospects. Encourage more people to visit your site and do business with you by establishing an impressive reputation through your articles. Be seen as an expert in the field and your will ultimately gain more customers eager to do business with you.

7.Enhances your credibility through references and testimonies

Certainly, your articles are going to receive feedbacks and testimonies when you publish them in e-zines and free article sites. Record these positive feedbacks and comments and use them as promotional material in your website or in any of your advertising efforts. Your credibility will be greatly enhanced by these feedbacks, as it will create a good impression on your prospects as well as your existing customers. In this highly competitive world, excellent credibility and trust may be the only things you need to attract new customers or make loyal patrons out of your existing customers. Original, relevant, useful and pertinent articles are important tools you should utilize to improve and explode your business

Since beginning this column last fall, I've attempted to point to trends, analysis and reports that gauge the development of digital signage and identify the strengths and opportunities for this emerging medium.

I'm not alone on this mission. An excellent white paper from Profitable Channels makes a strong case for digital signage networks as an effective advertising medium with the ability to compensate for deficiencies in television advertising manifested in increasingly fragmented audiences, digital video recording and its accompanying commercial "zapping," and the lack of certainty in measuring audience metrics.

The white paper presents highlights of a larger in-depth report entitled "Adding Out-of-Home Digital Advertising Networks to the Marketing and Media Mix" by Profitable Channels partner Stephen Diorio.

The white paper makes a strong case that marketers should take digital advertising seriously. It's in the best interest of their companies, the white paper contends, to "make sure their agency partners are considering" digital advertising networks "as part of the marketing/media mix." Additionally, it recommends marketers should be setting aside a portion of their marketing budgets for this emerging new medium.

According to the white paper, emerging digital advertising networks offer five advantages over traditional media offerings, including:
* measurable sales impact
* proximity to the sale
* better ways to target media
* greater relevance to the product being sold
* tighter integration with local selling efforts

Many marketers have begun to recognize those benefits. The white paper points out that as of August 2006, 37 of the 50 largest supermarket chains "are rolling out, piloting or planning" for in-store digital signage networks and that more than 4,000 "big-box retail stores" display in-store video advertising. Further evidence supporting that marketers see the value of digital ad networks comes in the form of budget allocation.

Referencing research from Veronis Suhler Stevenson, Carat Media and others, the document asserts that by 2011 "up to $40 billion of traditional media spending" will be shifted into new media. Obviously, a large portion of this will be devoted to Internet advertising and other new media, but digital advertising networks stand to benefit as well.

"This reallocation of media spending reflects a shift in consumer "attention" away from traditional newspaper and broadcast media to the Internet and new digital media, including cell phones, video games, podcasting, and out-of-home digital advertising networks," the white paper says.

It is important to note that the report lumps "cinema" into the overall digital media networks category without distinguishing between commercials and still ads projected on-screen by digital projectors and digital signage in and around motion picture theaters to promote films. Equally important to understand is that the former is likely to be significantly larger than the latter at this point. Regardless, the white paper identifies the overall strength of digital advertising networks, of which digital signage is an important part, and the likelihood that they will only continue to grow.

Perhaps best of all, the white paper identifies five separate research organizations that have found consumers like digital advertising networks. All show these networks have "value to, acceptance by and positive response from consumers."

If you only have time to read one report this summer, spend it reading "Adding Out-of-Home Digital Advertising Networks to the Marketing and Media Mix" by Stephen Diorio.

It's not just about the product you know.

I realised maybe there was going to be a problem with my ability to run a decent business when I found that I was buying more products than I was selling ! So I vowed to not buy the next product that I saw advertised, and stop to analyse why I wanted to buy it instead.

I used to think a good product sells itself. Well, it doesn't. Others have sold the same products I tried selling with far greater success.

Here's what I've learnt.

1. It's all about marketing. Would you buy glue that doesn't stick very well ? What if you put the same product on the back of little pieces of paper and call them post-its ? What about an anti-bacterial solution that isn't strong enough to kill germs on furniture surfaces ? No ? What if the seller changed it to an antiseptic mouthwash that cures bad breath and called it Listerine ?

2. Target your audience ! You may win some new converts by trying to get as many people to see your products as possible. But if you have a limited budget, it helps to try to market to those who are already looking for your kind of product. Notice most ads have very positive, hyped up words that target hopes, dreams, greed etc ? You are selling a want, not a need. You have to turn the want into a need.

3. Give a call to action. Do not let them just read the advertisement and move on.

4. Give a free gift, or bonus.

5. Notice most ads have very positive, hyped up words that target hopes, dreams, greed etc ? You are selling a want, not a need. You have to turn the want into a need. Can't expect to sell millions of products by saying please buy, you don't really need it but have pity on me, I have 12 kids to feed. Please, please please. Help me.

6. Learn to face rejection. I hate this part. I'd really rather not even try. But then, I'd have failed before I've even started. Oh, and learn why you got the rejection and how you can change that into a yes, rather than blame the grumpy lady who told you off.

7. Articles are to entertain first, not to provide information. You have to write what the customers want to read, not what you want to write. They can find information very easily these days.

8. Sell yourself. It's all about you. The seller. You make the product look good and convince people why they need it too. Your reputation is at stake as well. I always thought a model's job was to look good. It isn't. I learnt it from America's Top Model. The model's job is to make the product look good.

9. It's all about building up a relationship. Robert Kiyosaki uses himself to teach his lessons and sell his products. People buy Rich Dad Poor Dad because of him. He always said he was a best-selling author. Not a best-writing author !

10. Keep bugging them. Get an email contact or something. Send regular updates. Eventually they will buy something. Don't spam though. Turns people off. And if emails keep bouncing, it may be an abandoned account. Don't waste your time.

Karen Cheong believes we all have it in us to be rich - ridiculously rich. We just need to learn to unleash the potential.
